Kona Tested, 2026 Ready - India Lee’s 2025 Season
India Lee’s 2025 season has been one of consistency, confidence and clear progression at the very top of long-distance triathlon. The standout moment came at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, where she delivered one of the swims of the day, exiting with the front group and immediately putting herself in contention. On the bike she was riding superbly — controlled, composed and holding her own against the very best — sitting comfortably in fourth position and well within touch of the leaders.
Unfortunately, around 90 miles into the bike leg, a puncture brought an abrupt end to what was shaping up to be a special day. The time loss saw her slip out of the top ten and, after a tough run in brutal conditions, she crossed the line having paid the price physically. But the result doesn’t tell the full story. Kona was always about learning, testing herself on the course, and gathering experience ahead of much bigger ambitions in 2026 — and on that front, the race was a success.
Away from Kona, Lee enjoyed a hugely positive year, highlighted by a dominant win at Ironman Les Sables and a commanding victory at Ironman 70.3 Tours Métropole, securing her place at the 70.3 World Championships. Strong, consistent performances across the T100 series underlined her status as one of the sport’s most reliable all-rounders. Crucially, she stayed healthy all year — a platform that sets her up perfectly for what’s to come.
